Project Overview

The Elmwood Park Zoo is a small zoo with big ideas in Norristown, PA. In 2019, the zoo celebrated its 95th anniversary with a series of fundraising events, including a black tie gala in November.

We were tasked with bringing the gala’s program to life with music, an opening video, and engaging presentation slides to educate attendees about the zoo’s past and excite them about its future with the unveiling of the master plan.

The opening video

We felt that showing the emotional connection that the staff and attendees have with the zoo, along with its impact on the local community, would best set the tone to kickoff the event. While interviewing a mix of local government officials, zoo staff, and long-time visitors, we saw the passion and were eager to bring it into the final video.
